This project aims to assess PRIMS&#8217; accuracy in detecting Parkinson&#8217;s Disease (PD) states by comparing its assessment scoring with experts trained to conduct motor assessments following internationally recognized scoring standards.\u00a0<\/p><p>PRIMS hardware will be installed at the\u202fNewfoundland and Labrador Balance and Dizziness Centre (NLBDC), a physiotherapy clinic acting as the Community Lab, where PD patients with confirmed diagnoses will perform motor assessments.<\/p><p>The Ontario Brain Institute (OBI) will serve as the Beachhead, providing third-party evaluation services. OBI will leverage its informatics platform, Brain-CODE, to house and analyze the data, offering external validation of the technology. The community lab will provide a conducive environment for assessments, and\u202fpatient recruitment, and offer on-site participant support during assessments. This rigorous validation will enhance the accuracy, reliability, and clinical utility of PRIMS, facilitating its integration into standard PD care
