for maintaining residents&#8217; quality of life and managing staff workload in continuing care. Currently, most walking programs require 2 staff members, consuming time and resources. Residents needing 1-2 staff to assist with transfers without use of a lift experience long wait times, frustration, and reduced independence.\u202f\u202f<\/p><p>The Ambulation and Retraining Mobility Mechanism), developed by BISEP Innovations Inc., combines walking support and transfer assistance from the wheelchair where needed (i.e. bed, toilet) by one device. Its patented design enables a standalone wheelchair to securely attach to a walker, addressing a dual need for older
