This project will integrate a new, non-intrusive sleep sensor into an existing care platform to provide predictive bed-exit alerts and clear, actionable summaries of residents\u2019 nighttime sleep and movement.<\/p><p>The initiative will involve close collaboration with continuing care assistants, nurses, residents, and families to co-design intuitive alerts, staff dashboards, and monthly sleep reports tailored for families. It will evaluate whether the technology enables faster staff responses when residents wake or leave their beds, reduces nighttime falls, and improves overall sleep quality.<\/p><p>In parallel, the project will assess the impact on staff workload, confidence using technology, and day-to-day care practices. Ultimately, it aims to develop a practical framework to support the safe and ethical integration of sensor-based monitoring within the Tenera Care
